Our Founder: Sayed Hossain
With over 45 years of entrepreneurial excellence, Sayed Hossain has been a pioneer in the DMV business landscape. From launching one of the earliest Vocelli Pizza franchises in the region to building a diverse portfolio in real estate and hospitality, Sayed’s career has been defined by vision, integrity, and community impact.
Now, after decades of business success, he has turned his focus to a greater purpose—founding the Akhira Foundation. Moved by the emotional and financial hardships families face during the loss of a loved one, Sayed created the foundation to help ease the burden of funeral and burial expenses for those in need. His goal is to serve the community with compassion, dignity, and the same commitment that fueled his entrepreneurial journey.
